Hi, I’m Samira!

I’m the founder of The Littles’ Play Studio (TLPS), a mom, and someone who knows how important it is for parents and little ones to have a place to get out of the house, connect, play, and feel welcome.

TLPS was inspired by my own experience of becoming a first-time mom. I found myself wishing for a space where I could bring my son to play, somewhere calm, clean, diverse, developmentally appropriate, and thoughtfully designed for both little ones and their families.

With over 15 years in the early education field, a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Family Studies and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, I envisioned how I could bring together my professional and educational background with my experience as a mom.

That vision became The Littles’ Play Studio, a Montessori-inspired play experience where children can explore, create, and learn at their own pace while families from different backgrounds can feel safe, connect, and build community.

What started as an idea at home has grown into pop-up play experiences and a bigger vision for a permanent space here in the Twin Cities.
